This exhibition is very significant to my career because not only is it my first major museum exhibition, I am also the youngest artist in the history of this exhibition to be chosen. The Evansville Museum of Art has a reputation of venues focused on representational painting. Over the past thirty years under the direction of John Streetman, the museum has attained one of the most prestigious and rare collections in the United States purely devoted to the still life, and my work is included in its permanent collection.
